Thanks for the shout-out, Julia, and Hoka’s are currently my shoe of choice for ultras. I just returned after spending the last weekend plus in the company of folks, most of them on the mature side, who for fun go out and run 241.2 miles.

After hanging out from Friday through Tuesday night with and around people who ran the Moab 240 ultra I am upping the bar for myself. I think that it is feasible for me to do this event when I am 70.

Might take me until 71 to FINISH as my birthday falls in the middle of the event, so I do have a little fudge factor, but it could be as soon as one year from today that I will be basking in my accomplishment.
