My feeling is that most men are good. I wonder if there is an infestation of truly bad men who are serial offenders. Men who have assaulted so many women, in so many contexts, over so many years that most women have encountered them at some point or points in their lives and are justifiably wary.

I guess it's the same old bad apple problem. What do you do when you find a bad apple? Toss in on the compost heap!
