I have the same issue with the forks and other disposable items. I immediately decided that the sous vide egg bites are actually finger food and so forego the fork. Ditto for oatmeal where I bring along my own fruit/nut additives and use the spoon that I got the first time I ordered their oatmeal.

On that occasion I was horrified to get a back a paper bag containing the oatmeal, plastic wrapped spoon, a small plastic package of fruit, a small plastic package of nuts, and a (paper at least) package of brown sugar! Quite a pile of debris was left afterwards, and I vowed never again!

Where our experiences differ is in the response of the crew. I frequent a couple of different Starbucks where my immense charm (accompanied by generous tipping) have them ready to totally flaunt “regulations” and give me exactly what I want. Often without even a gentle reminder!
