I have discovered that I have a few super powers, and one of them is that I am a connector. I have a several coffeshops that I frequent, and in each one I have managed to help to create spaces where people get to know each other and connect with each other. I was sitting in one of those shops one day, and after watching me greet and be greeted by everyone who came in the person sitting at the next table asked if I was the mayor of the coffee shop. Felt pretty good!
