I have a couple of evangelical sisters who are Trump supporters, and I have tried to point out just how un-Christian it was for them to always side on the side of preserving the economy rather than preserving lives. They have to live with a lot of contradictions, like being pro-life when it comes to abortion and then being fine with opening the economy costing a lot of lives. I think all of their brains have short-circuited and they are no longer capable of rational thought.
